Hope you‘re here for a yummy non-recipe recipe! This dinner is easy! Anyone can do it, promise! You almost can’t mess it up!

Brown Ground Chicken in large skillet

+ add chopped water chestnuts

+ add salt, pepper, garlic salt, onion powder, chili flakes (the “basics” in my eyes)

Once browned and somewhat combined, add sweet chili sauce. See my preference below:


I added almost the entire jar, probably about 75% of it. Mix mix mix! Turn heat to low and let simmer.

After 10 or so minutes it should have thickened up and be perfect for lettuce cups!

I bought romaine lettuce this time but sometimes do butter lettuce. We also did jasmine rice which could be a side dish or the base of the lettuce cups (this is what we did)!

That’s it! Anyone could do it, I promise! If you’re feeling fancy you could add in other goodies like red bell pepper, onion, pineapple, etc.!
